Infrared Sauna Health Benefits
Description
What Is Infrared Therapy?
Infrared therapy is a treatment that use infrared light to promote healing in the body. Infrared light is not visible light, yet we perceive it as heat because the energy emitted by infrared light encourages the water in our bodies to generate energy, resulting in warmth. While infrared radiation does not produce visible light, it is part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
Infrared radiation has been used for centuries to treat a range of health conditions, and it has recently gained popularity as a method of improving overall health. Don't be fooled by the phrase radiation; infrared is non-ionising, which means it's not harmful.
Infrared therapy has numerous health benefits, including sweat detoxification, vessel dilatation, heat therapy, serotonin boost, vasodilation, increased heart rate, immune system activation, collogen production, and the potential for a growth hormone rush.

How Does Infrared Light Work?
Infrared therapy uses infrared waves that have emitted infrared radiation, known as infrared light, which are absorbed by the body and converted to thermal energy. Infrared radiation travels through your skin and into fat cells, converting triglycerides (type of fat, found in your blood) into fatty acids. Lipolysis (metabolic process) is a mechanism that permits your body to eliminate toxins trapped in fat cells.
In addition to the health benefits listed above, infrared therapy increases your core temperature. This elevation in core temperature raises your heart rate and dilates your blood vessels. This increased blood flow and enhanced circulation allows for better oxygen and nutrient delivery, lowers blood pressure, and boosts the body's natural defences, all of which provide further health benefits.

Is Infrared Radiation Safe?
Infrared treatment is safe. It is a non-invasive method for promoting numerous health benefits that has been used for centuries. Don't be alarmed by the word infrared radiation; it simply refers to infrared wavelengths that are invisible to the human eye, hence the name infrared light.
Many items generate infrared radiation, including the sun, fire, and the human body. The human body emits infrared heat as part of its metabolism, but the sun's infrared light causes the Earth's surface to warm. Because infrared radiation or infrared light is not visible light, it can only be seen with thermal imaging such as infrared cameras and night vision goggles. This thermal imaging is used to detect objects and is even used for infrared astronomy.
Infrared therapy is safe for most people to use, though there are a few conditions that it should not be used for, such as pregnant women, those with heart conditions, or those with metal implants. If you have any concerns about whether infrared radiation is right for you, be sure to speak to your doctor before beginning treatment.
Why Choose Infrared Technology?
The effectiveness of infrared radiation is quite extensive. These waves have the potential to heat past the skin at about 1.5 to 2 inches or more deep into the body. This therapeutic heat raises your core body temperature from the inside. Traditional saunas, on the other hand, must rely only on indirect heat sources: first, convection (air currents) and then conduction (direct contact of hot air with the skin) to create its heat.
